Environmental audits

You must have an audit programme in place to ensure that key policies and practices are being implemented. We specify and implement an audit programme that will meet CQC standards.

Policies, logs & registers

These must all be present, signed and dated. Your must have a nominated lead manager responsible for the cleaning and decontamination of equipment, and have evidence of annual maintenance contracts for all equipment. We specify and implement a system to meet CQC requirements.

Policies and Procedures

The CQC standards require you to have a set of tools for judging the quality of life of users of your services; and to be able to demonstrate that these are being properly applied and reviewed. The regulators will also look for evidence that a good quality of life is enjoyed by users of your services, and will want to scrutinise written policies, procedures and records. We specify and implement appropriate procedures.

Staff Training

Staff must be trained in decontamination, and you must have evidence of competencies achieved appropriate to their roles. The CQC requires you to have supporting evidence to support your declaration that you are delivering care that meets their standards. We deliver our proven training in decontamination and infection control through our distance learning programme, using our highly-effective workbooks, with full tutor support.

Documentation Required for Registration

We can assemble and compile all the documentation required for submission to the CQC for each of the different areas.
