Diana Cain
Diana brings a wealth of expertise and practical experience to bear on infection control training. She has many years’ experience in both the NHS and the private sector.
Diana had a distinguished career in the NHS. She joined Clatterbridge Hospital on The Wirral as a student nurse and worked her way up over a 20 year period to become Acting Director of Nursing Services, as part of the senior management team running the hospital.
She then moved into the private sector, and spent 7 years as Director of Operations for a large nursing home group – so she is very aware of the commercial pressures that anyone delivering healthcare has to cope with.
But infection control had always been her particular interest, and as it became increasingly important in all aspects of healthcare she decided to focus on this area. She set up DC Solutions with Jonathan Clark in 2004, using her experience to design training programmes that met the needs of different organisations.
