Nursing Agencies

April 2010 – CQC Registration deadline draws near

This April sees a tightening of regulation for all healthcare providers. If you operate a nursing agency, no matter what size, you must register with the Care Quality Commission by April 2010.

But in order to register you have to satisfy the CQC that you meet their standards - for premises, working practices and record keeping. The CQC has the power to stop healthcare providers operating if registration is not achieved.

Many agencies find the CQC documentation can be a problem, as there's a lot to go through - particularly the first time you confront it. You're busy enough looking after your clients, without having to worry about CQC registration. So many nursing agencies find it makes sense to use a specialist like DC Solutions to look after their CQC registration.

DC Solutions offer a range of services and consultancy, from a fixed price review to detailed implementation and training. We have the experience to put together the registration documentation, examine your operation and recommend practical changes that will ensure compliance.

It's unlikely that your policies and procedures will need completely rewriting - so we offer a flexible hourly rate, and only charge for the areas that need bringing up to scratch. There's no need to be faced with a bill of several thousands of pounds for completely new paperwork, when we can fix your existing systems for a much smaller sum.

How DC Solutions can help you

We offer a full review of your current operations to identify any gaps or shortcomings - and then work with you to rectify any deficiencies, and get you up to the required standards. We agree prices before commencement of any work, and to keep costs down we do the work remotely, via emails and post. If there is a need for a site visit, we do have to make a small charge to cover travel costs incurred.
